Paddlers in Sunda Kelapa Receive New Carts and Storefronts

14 of them received carts and 2 others received storefronts

As many as 16 paddlers incorporated in the small and medium enterprises (UKM) who open stalls alongside Jalan Raya Sunda Kelapa, Menteng, Central Jakarta, received assistance in the form of new carts and storefronts from Bank DKI, on Thursday (10/3).

In addition, the bank also provides capital loans to them.

"Bank DKi also has Monas credit facilities, ranging from Monas 25, Monas 75 and Monas 500 for the UMKM segment. For easier and faster payment transactions, we also have the JakOne Mobile app that can be used to meet daily needs," he expressed.

In 2013, his party also had granted 28 carts and renovated 8 stalls belonging street vendors in Sunda Kelapa area as the beginning of the structuring effort.

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor Irwandi appreciated it. He also wants the traders to maintain cleanliness and safety to make the buyer more comfortable.

"They already have new carts right now so I want you all to maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the location. We also plan to renovate the place in the near future," he told.

Iing Sairin (46), one of paddlers in Sunda Kelapa area admitted that he was happy to receive new cart from the Bank DKI.

"My old cart was broken already but now I have new ones, surely it will make my voucher and refill pulse merchandises can be more visible," he stated.
